Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
This policy explains what information Unisson Dating collects, why we collect it, who sees it and the choices you have. Discretion is at the heart of what we do, so we ask only for what we need to find you good introductions. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@lovedaring.com.
Unisson Dating is owned and operated by Boardwalk Services Inc. (“we,” “us” or “our”), which is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Information we collect
Your application. Your first name, age, email, phone or WhatsApp number, where you're based and, if you're visiting, your dates in Barcelona. What you're looking for, your gender, who you'd like to meet and your preferred age range. What you do, the languages you speak and the answers you write about yourself, your values and your deal-breakers.
Photos. If you join the dating database, we ask for two or three recent photos. They are never published.
Your call with us. If you book a discovery call, Calendly collects your name, email and chosen time. On the call we ask you to show a photo ID to confirm who you are. We look at it on screen only. We don't copy, record or keep it; we only note that your identity was checked.
Messages. What you send us through the contact form, by email or on WhatsApp, and our notes from calls and feedback after dates, so we can make better introductions.
Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps) to keep the site secure. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
Sensitive information
Who you'd like to meet can reveal your sexual orientation, which EU law treats as a special category of personal data. We only process it with your explicit consent, which you give when you send your application, and only to find you compatible matches. You can withdraw that consent at any time by asking us to delete your application.
How we use your information
- To review your application, verify your identity and keep the network safe and genuine.
- To find compatible matches and arrange introductions, Unisson Evenings and Barcelona Visits.
- To schedule and hold calls with you, and to reply when you contact us.
- To deliver the services you book and handle payment-related communication.
- To send you invitations to upcoming evenings, only if you've opted in.
We rely on your consent, on steps needed to provide the service you've asked for, and on our legitimate interest in keeping members safe. We do not sell your personal information, and we never use it for advertising.
Who sees your information
Potential matches. Nobody is shown your details until you've said yes to a specific introduction. Even then, a match only learns your first name, age, a few lines about you and, where relevant, your photos. Your surname, contact details and full application are never shared with other members. We never publish profiles or photos online.
Service providers. We use a small number of providers who process data on our behalf, under their own security and confidentiality commitments:
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
- Resend, which delivers the emails sent by our forms.
- Calendly, which handles call bookings. Its booking calendar may set its own cookies when it loads on this site.
- Our email provider, where your application and messages arrive.
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there.
- Google Fonts and cdnjs (Cloudflare), which deliver the site's fonts and scripts, so they receive your IP address when the page loads.
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where your data leaves the EEA, it is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our members or anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep your application, photos and notes for as long as you're an active client or member of the network. If you ask us to delete your data, we do so within 30 days. Applications that don't go ahead are deleted within 6 months, and contact-form messages within 12 months, unless we need to keep something for legal or safety reasons.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can:
- Access the information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
- Correct anything that's wrong or out of date.
- Ask us to delete your information, or to stop or restrict using it.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what happened before.
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Stop invitations by replying to any of them or emailing us.
To use any of these rights, email hello@lovedaring.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish data-protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, or the authority where you live.
Adults only
Unisson is for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe someone under 18 has applied, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access limited to the people who run Unisson, and secure infrastructure providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we'll tell you promptly if a breach affects you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Unisson evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you directly.
