Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Unisson Dating, including this website, your application, our introductions, Unisson Evenings and the Barcelona Visit. By applying or using our services, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't apply.
Unisson Dating is owned and operated by Boardwalk Services Inc. (“we,” “us” or “our”). These terms are a binding agreement between you and Boardwalk Services Inc. How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Who can join
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter into this agreement, and genuinely available to date. By applying, you confirm that this is true and that everything you tell us, including your age, photos and relationship status, is accurate and up to date.
Two ways to join
Client membership. An active, paid search in which we get to know you in depth and hand-pick introductions for you. It always starts with a free discovery call. What's included, the fee and the payment terms are confirmed to you in writing before you pay anything.
Private network. Free membership of our dating database. You may be considered for introductions to clients and invited to evenings. There's no fee to join or to be introduced.
Vetting and acceptance
Every applicant has a video call with us and shows a photo ID before joining. We may decline or end any application or membership at our discretion, including where we don't think we can find you suitable matches. We don't always give reasons, but we'll always treat you with respect.
Introductions
An introduction only happens when both people have said yes. We share a short profile with a potential match only after you've agreed to that specific introduction. We can't guarantee a particular number of introductions, that someone will accept, or that any introduction will lead to a relationship.
Evenings and visits
Seats at Unisson Evenings are limited and guest lists are balanced, so a place is confirmed only once we've told you so. Venue, date and any ticket price are shown when you book. Please drink responsibly and follow the host's and venue's guidance.
Fees and cancellations
Joining the private network is free. Paid services (client membership, the Introduction Programme, the Barcelona Visit and ticketed evenings) are priced and confirmed in writing before you pay, together with their cancellation terms. If you live in the EU, you also have the legal right to cancel a service bought at a distance within 14 days. If you ask us to start the service within those 14 days, we may deduct a proportionate amount for what's already been provided.
Member code of conduct
Unisson only works if every member can trust every other. By joining, you agree to:
- Be honest. Use recent photos, your real age and your true relationship status. Don't join if you're in a relationship.
- Be respectful. Treat every match, guest, host and venue with courtesy, whether or not there's chemistry.
- Respect consent. No means no, in person and in messages. Never pressure anyone.
- Be discreet. Don't share another member's name, photos or details with anyone, online or off.
- Meet safely. Hold first meetings at our evenings or in public places.
- Keep it personal. No selling, recruiting, promoting or soliciting of any kind.
- Show up. If you can't make a date or an evening, let us or your match know in good time.
- Speak up. Tell us straight away if anyone makes you uncomfortable or breaks this code.
Harassment, abuse, deception or discrimination ends your membership immediately, without a refund for that part of the service.
Your safety
We vet every member, but we can't fully verify anyone's character or control what people do on a date. Use your own judgement, take sensible precautions and tell a friend where you're going. If you ever feel unsafe, leave and contact the local emergency services on 112.
Your information and content
You own the answers and photos you give us. You allow us to use them only to run Unisson for you: reviewing your application, finding matches and sharing a short profile with matches you've said yes to. We never publish them or sell them.
Our content
The design, text, branding and logo on this website are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Disclaimers
Unisson is a matchmaking and introductions service, not therapy, counselling or professional relationship advice. We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, but we don't promise any particular outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the conduct of any member or guest. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Ending your membership
You can leave at any time by emailing us, and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend or end your membership if you break these terms or the code of conduct, or if we stop offering the service, with notice where reasonably possible.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Unisson evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and, where appropriate, we'll tell you directly. Continuing to use our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
